My music, poetry (I write Haiku's), having fun w/my son (we love the beach and going to the movies to see the latest family flix). I enjoy having get togethers at my folks house and seeing my relatives (I'm pretty lucky, we actually enjoy each other's company and love each other, will wonders never cease!). I also enjoy a good book, I enjoy a variety of subjects and author's.
I have fun entertaining my son and family playing my accordian (I'm a little rusty as I don't play that much anymore), I used to play the guitar (acoustic) but haven't in a while but I'm planning on picking it up again. I also love playing with my computer and learning. I'm self taught and still learning, but I have a computer geek buddy and he says I pretty much have an inate sense for picking up on computerese stuff. Cool!

I love animated family movies, but I'm also a sucker for romance/comedy flicks. I love action/suspense films like the 'Bourne' trilogy, Matt Damon is excellent! I love anything with Johnny Depp, Nicholas Cage, Bruce Willis, Reece Witherspoon, Diane Keaton & Meg Ryan.

My hero is Todd Rundgren, I've adored him since I was a kid and my older sister played 'Hello It's Me' and 'I Saw The Light'.
My other love/hero is Brandon Boyd-Incubus.
I enjoy just about any type of music it depends on my mood. I have an extreme variety of tastes.
The following is some of the music I enjoy: Todd Rundgren, Incubus, 311, System of a Down, Bob Marley & The Wailers (the Greatest Hits c.d. is dakine!), The Ramones (same), Korn, Los Lonely Boys, Beach Boys, Pearl Jam (old), Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, Rusty Anderson, Stewart Copeland (yes the drummer from the Police, check out his old alter ego stuff as 'Klark Kent' it's awesome!). Lenny Kravitz (he's one of the most incredible live performers you'll ever see!), Sublime, B-52's, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, The White Stripes, The Style Council, Everything But the Girl, The Mavericks (not affiliated, but also check out Mavericks surf website - it's awesome!), Billie Holiday, and I love old swing music like Gene Krupa (he was an incredibly talented drummer) and Harry James (don't get me wrong I think Big Bad Voodoo Daddy kicks booty too!), that's about it for now.

I really love reading when I have the time, which is why I get a daily synopsis of the O.C.Register and N.Y.Times in my e-mail so I can at least keep somewhat up to date on what's going on.
As for authors I'm a pushover for anything by Stephen King and I enjoy biographies. One of my favorite childhood novels was Siddartha by Hermann Hesse (it's wonderful).

Brandon Boyd singing, an early morning session of 2-4'. Vegging/meditating late night (@ 9:30 pm, most of the toories have cleared out by then!) at H.B.(extremely peaceful and rejuvenating!).
In just a 'makes me very happy sort of way' - I love hearing my little boy laugh, he has an adorable infectious laugh!
Feeling blessed, and appreciating what I have - (and what I don't have) and people who feel the same about themselves. Also, I'm proud to be an American, but I'm also very proud that I'm a great mom and person. (Jeez, I'm modest!)

People who harm/pollute our environment/Mother Earth, prejudice, injustice, materialistic and ill-mannered people and people who do not try to be just plain ol' nice decent folk!

Let's see, I'm not too keen on talking about myself, but here it goes; I love the beach, have my entire life, the waves and sand feel like home to me - stellar! Until he's a little older and doesn't want to hang with mom any more - my little boy is the center of my universe.
We have a blast together, we also love to watch the jets when they take-off or land at the all-military air base near our home, they are awesome! I saw the Air Force One take-off last year - President Bush was in O.C. for an appearance in Irvine, it was very cool, it made me feel very patriotic, especially seeing the American Flag on the side of the jet.

My star sign is Taurus (and yes I can be as stubborn as!), but I'm usually a sweetie. I basically like all people, unless they show they don't care for me, then I just steer clear, there's just no point, life's too short and I just don't have time for people like that.

I'm fairly involved in environmental issues, I've signed tons of petitions and volunteered for as much as I can. We somehow must stop the industrialists from destroying the rainforests and our coral reefs, it's wreaking havoc! People have no clue how vital these two components are to the earth being habitable for man and beast. Granted all the injustices taking place every day in our world aren't right either, however if we don't have breathable oxygen we won't be around to help and make changes for the better!
Ok, ok, I'll step down from my soapbox, but I feel with all my heart we all must do anything we can to make this world a better place (even the smallest effort makes a big difference!).

For the most part I'm a down to earth basic nice person. I enjoy life and feel pretty blessed most of the time, don't get me wrong I have my really crummy days just like everyone else, but I never let it keep me down for long, like I said life's too short, you've got to live and be happy.
