TURN ON'S
HURRICANE SEASON. Aka Lyman rips. surfing overhead slop builds character. barreling lefts and fast, powerful rights. dk floaters. empty peaks. cape cod. bbers that find ramps and launch. those that show up solo, charge, and earn it. Having no restrictions on you, being able to surf whenever, able to drop everything at a certain time, while not having to worry about hearing it from anybody = FREEDOM!

TURN OFF'S
subways. missing surf at work. shoulder hopping. slaving to the corporate world. changing for work in the car during winter.

ABOUT ME
East Coast US from birth to now. Went to school in Rhode Island and scored 5 real good years at the reefbreaks as well as come out with two degrees. Education pays kids.

Now I live south of Boston and have a real job, but still logging in tons of water time at lots of different setups. Not much has changed, except exploring new areas and looking to maximize water time. I am also looking into moving out to the West Coast.

Ok... now that totally sucks.  We had a great swell the other week and I got into it at the very end.  Sloppy seconds.... however, reading your last post makes me feel crappy for bitching about lousy waves when I could be banged up like you.

I bodyboard in the Carlsbad area as well as my home city of Oceanside.  San Diego county has got good swells up and down the county... accept by the boarder.  There you have to surf in the crap that flows off the Mexican boarder which means you have no idea what just floated by you.....ewwwww.

What up Pat?  Hows the east coast for you right now?  We got a storm coming in for the past couple of days.  Not sure of the swell for tomorrow but its gotta be better than the crap i have had the past three days.

yeah bro,,its gonna be fun this weekend but i gotta bail on friday to go work in the carrebean,,,,i think there might be waves tomorrow or maybe late this afternoon,,theres supposed to be some waves but my lady has to work so i dont have transport,,,bummer,,,the guy i usaually go surf with is kevin from levitate surf shop in marshfield,,he is also away cause his girlfriend dad just passed away yesterday,,,but all is good,,,jus gonna try make a mission,,,peace out ,,,TTT...throwthetail!!!!
