I've read all these novels in dutch, though I want to read those in english sometime, because I've heard that those translations are better than the dutch ones.

Besides these internationally known writers, I read novels by dutch writers from which you propably have never heard, like: Harry Mulisch, Jan van Aken and W.F. Hermans. However, I do not own these books, I borrow them from de schoollibrary.
