More basic maneuver of bodyboard, consists of giving a turn of 360º. As to execute: When it will have a good speed, all locates on the plate, taking off the body of contact with water. It raises the legs and it turns the head and the body together with the plate for the left or right side, in accordance with the wave. in the end of the completed turn, it comes back to the initial position, stopping the rotatory movement with paddles.
watch a booger vid and look at every part of there body.....
also practice in everything small waves, big waves, whitewash... and then ull just get it... just dont stop practicing!
wen u get into the first part of the spin u bring ur weight on the front of the boardthen at the end, weight goes bak to the bak of board. use ur legs to swing around, so swing them up fast and cross them or wateva suits u...
keep practicing!
get one of those office chairs that spin around and have wheels....take the back rest bit of so it is like a stool......sit ya board on it and get your technique hapnen....
stick ya hand out and push off the ground to get the motion going....
imagine your on a left hander...make sure u have your left hand up on the nose and your right hand on your rail....as u are spinning to help your momentum ( where i think u are going wrong in the surf ) make sure u have your head turn and looking ova your left shoulder ( always have your head turned to where u want to go ) and cross your legs, tuck them up so your heels are touching your butt......
keep practising, soon u will find that just from throwing your legs into the tucked position will be enough to get your momentum hapnen....
i found this really helpful when i was learning cause it wasnt always the best conditions to try and learn manouvers out in the surf.....
also get some bodyboarding dvd's....watch the pro's... where they have their legs etc....that'l help too....if ya have any other questions just ask hey cause i been wear u are....dont worry, just keep practising
