So the other day my leash came off in big surf, I looked along the beach for my board for hours. I assume it got sucked out to sea in one of the hectic rips or washed down the beach as there was barely anyone on the beach. But i never retrieved it, which im so cut about as it was $400 and just got it recently. But anyways I'm getting a new board now and i was wondering what you guys think about the Parabolic core, has anyone used it before? I'm in warm waters, which I've heard its good for. Lately I've been pretty bored of doing the same shit all the time so I want to start bodyboarding.. here's some background info
I grew up in Peru I lived literally in front of the beach i would spend 15hours a day at the beach during summer with friends and all just riding waves without a bodyboard what we called "pechito" then i got into bodyboarding but i only got to do it for like two months, then we moved to California, I live 20 minutes away from LA. SO, I don't know what happened i just never had anyone with an interest and such, but i've been wanting to pick it up again and i think this summer would be perfect so any advice would help things like
What board to get and where I'm 20 years old, 5`11 and weigh 210lbs
Fins?? anything else i should need to start off
Any videos other sites I could look up stuff
Where to go around here? Southern Cali, i like huntington but i not familiar with anything else
Ways to meet some people that are interested in BB?
Anything else that would help
