Bodyboarding, my old Landrover, camping.

Action, adventure, mystery. But I'm not a real movie buff and havn't really got a favorate. But I will sit down and watch the occaisional on foxtel.

The seventies and early eighties was the music I grew up to like the most. But there are also some good groups and songs that I do like today but they come so quick and fast and don't seem to be around for long. For the groups and songs of 20yrs - 30yrs back they are still being played on the radio and still performing to this day. But I don't like rap, hip hop, disco and other strange forms of music.

Easy going people, lots of smiles, respect between surfers. Out in the yard playing with the wife and kids ( Reako and Rosie Australian silky terriers )And 1m to 2m clean waves with light of shore winds and not many out.

Thieves, Liars, dishonesty, child molesterers., egotistical I love myself people, people who play emotional games on others, lazy messy untidy people, poloticians they don't understand the real world, and loud people.

I'm a 50 year old living on the Queensland coast. And married to a beautiful aboriginal lady for 23 yrs. I spent my teens and early twenties living in the seventies and early eighties with good music and a care free attiude. Had long hair was a stand up surfer, smoked plenty of Billies and worked for the dole. Now I work don't do drugs have a few grey hairs and have conformed to society. But I don't regret my life so far. Started bodyboarding about two years ago arfter I had read my first Riptide mag. I have to work hard paddling out when there is a bit of swell, it just gets a bit harder when your a bit older. My board is a Nomad Bat tail ( Nemesis ) and my second board will be comming soon a Nomad clipped crescent ( Enigma) I only ride prone.

Man you must be versatile liking standup and sponging. I was a standup for many years then became a lidder about 4 yrs ago. But wanna by a 6'4" fish board just for small days.
Take care bro Houser

I did not say I was any good at standup. Like you I did it for awhile, just didn't get what I wanted from it. So now I standup for fun when the waves are not that good. I have never surfed a fish, but they look like a lot of fun. I have an old 8'6" log and a old 5'8" Dick Brewer shortboard. Sponging for me is the way to go.
Where do you surf?

Hey bro, thanks for the tip but I'm flying back to P.R. in November to catch some of the early winter swell (there's some hope after all). BTW if you ever consider to ride in P.R. let me know, I could give you some hints.

Good to hear you're enjoying the surf and the promising outlook for good weather! We're only gonna get colder for a while over here! But.... that's when the best waves come... so I guess that's a trade off. :-)
