I'm paddling out at Aptos this evening with some friends if you feel like making the drive. Manressa should be pretty decent, its 3-5. Its a little bigger up north, I think 4-7 if you go out at Linda Mar or OB today.
Yes, I've been staying here for a while, but i'm from Cape Town, SA. Been BBing since 11 years old. Currently I don't BB that much as the waves here are flat 24/7. This makes me even more emotional when I read peoples journals about having great experiences. I'll never stop though. I really take my hat of for you to start BBing at this point of you life. A lot of people just get caught up in work and the busy city life that they miss out on the simpler things in life. Stay real babe.
