What's up bro. I'm from Baltimore, Maryland and usually ride Ocean City, Md in the Atlantic Ocean. The swell for most of the year is small, fun-sized surf but, when it blows up; this place has potential to start going off. I have some wave pics of the last hurricane that came up the east coast in August that are posted in my gallery. The waves were anywhere from 12-15' feet high. It was sick. Anyway, what parts of Australia are you tearin' up? Stay up. Peace.

I was so excited to notice your comment on my "January 30th" photo! Yes, there are women bodyboarders out there that have not been unveiled, however there should be more "charging" all the elements that nature can deliver! Within reason, of course! It's all about FUN. But, trust me, surfing the East Coast USA in dead winter-season isn't that "crazy"....you would understand more if you spent just 1 full year here. Despite the inconsistency and tourism when it does warm up, there are some beatiful/tranquil waves, while sharing them with just 1 or 2 best buds--now that's rare! Maybe my opinion will change once I visit Australia?!?! Ha,ha. Soon, soon! Right on, well support Women's Bodyboarding and help it grow and flourish--whether she's a g/f, friend, neighbor, family, etc. Keep riding for the right reasons, Matty.
Aloha from Maryland,
