the problem is that cheap labor does not have to support our economy. We became a debtor nation when we changed from a producing based economy to a service based economy. This then brought on the increased number of ppl on socialized assistance. I have no problem with giving ppl help, but we forced many ppl into this whole by taking away work in which ppl could earn a living from. The factories move south leaving ppl to work at McDeath to feed their families... The three generations of ppl working at the same factory has been replaced with three generations of ppl being on wealfare. Ya, it can be said that those ppl could get degrees and advance their careers but then what? More ppl fighting to get the few jobs that do exist where one can make a living. Then who is going to pump gas and clean the hotels? Its all a game in the end....
What should I think of it? I am more concerned over the fact that we continue to inslave the third world for cheap ass products that cannot quench our f'ed up desire to have as much shit as we can.
