nah its no way as good as newport!
so my beach is man made (cabrillo beach) its about a 1/4 mile stretch of sand that starts at a cliff.

its kinda a point and theres a spot called "the point" its a right and breaks really good on strong souths
the beach keeps going and stops at a jetty

well in between the jettie and the break water theres a little peice of beach that makes a right angle
in fact you can see the spot in the photo but not the actual break
the spot is in between that fishing peir and the jettie that runs parralel to the bottom of the pic
so it breaks on souths. the set comes in against the jettie (not the break wall), hits the break wall, creates a small mushy wave (any where from 1-3ft, depending on swell size ) and meets up with the incoming wave creating a wedge.
its mostly a close out in a foot of water, but some times you can get a quick ride on a left. it also breaks a right off the jettie
oh my bad dude! i read your turn ons and i thought it said "hill grades" such as the stepness of a hill. and in longboarding (skateboarding) you live for hills! i also longboard when im not in the water. its one of my other passions
Late start... ya right. Its called sleeping in. No matter. Ya, I am on line but I am not checkin my site during class time, just between classes and on my break. You on the other hand, right in the middle of class. Horrible.
