Damn, that sucks. I had the same kinda thing happen to me playing football in high school. Luckily, I didn't tear anything though. Had ligament damage to the acl and mcl. So whats going on with you over the holidays?
Yeah s.a is really a beautiful country, i njoy travellin alot, but is shit expensive especially from our side! is there nothing exciting in the sense of wildlife etc in the u.s? i plan to def go to cali..also wana c the cities..but my trip will def be bb orientated,im trying to get more info on wher to go for gr8 surf spots and seaside cities, perhaps you could give me sum guidance? There is jus so much in u.s that i wana c and do..Especially surf wise..mexico is also another place im looking to go to durin my visit, but the stories of hijacking's and stuff are kinda putting me off..but the spots are just alluring and i really wana go..the trip is jus gona be holiday so will have much time to surf and site see..wher do live? n how is it there?
Well, I guess I was thinking more from like Vermont or something on the laid back thing. West Coast Surfers are pretty laid back but in general most people out here are workaholics and into the money thing. But ya I can't complain So Cal is a great place to live except for the traffic and the overpriced realestate. Its been 80 degrees all week. So what board do you ride?? Have you been BB for awhile. Go on any surf trips??
Wow, your photography is sick. I'm impressed to say the least. I'll have to get some of my stuff posted up here. So do you ski or snowboard at all, being so close to some great northern ski resorts?
Hey Steph! Sounds like you enjoy your job. That's important. I work as a Medic on the t.v. show Heroes. Been in the movie business over 10 years now. Its been fun but the hours are insane. Sometimes I work 80 hour weeks. The actors can be demanding at times as well. When I get time off I head to the beach, away from the ratrace out here in L.A. Heard people are pretty laid back on the East Coast.
Cheers!
Hey hey stef, yeah sa is 1 damn beautiful country..there is jus so much diversity in this country.beautiful nature and wildlife, beautiful beaches and breaks! Im plannin to travel to the u.s pretty soon, have been up 2 the uk, europe, russia, mauritius and in april 07 its madagascar's turn and then what iv'e ben waiting for..Indo in august 07! Really keen to go u.s way..looking in to it already! Sharks that fly..generally found on the west coast of sa, not so much where im from on the south..we get more scare's from dolphins surfing with us on waves than anything else! Jeffery's bay is a stone throw away from where i live and is one of the top rated spots in the world! Super Tubes is the reknown spots name! Have you heard of it?..next time you travel, seriously consider Sa a destination..u wont regret it, imagine being able to see a lion and a cheetah sit 5 metres from you..its insane and us saffas are very fortunate ppl..! Much respect and peace..
