The reef is far enough out that there is no way anyone would hit it... its far from anything similar to what is in Hawaii. At the same time, it gives enough presure to form some good waves. I am looking at being out there on Saturday morning... most likely will be the only BB out there.

Not sure how deep the reef is... it has a nice right break at the point. The locals call it Seven Palms due to seven palm trees that grow in front of this one house. The reef begins right where the houses begin at the Power Station.

Its a sweet spot with no real crowds. As far as I know, I am the only regular boarder there. A herd of long boarders hang there but we are pretty cool to each other.

North County... Carlsbad area. The power plant is my home break. There is reef out there that helps the waves have some nice shape.
