did you end up getting out today? Frickin cold at 57 degrees... wient out with a ripped sock which made my left foot freeze for the first 20 minutes. It was 3 - 5 at the power station in Carlsbad. As the only crew member of the bodyboarders who surf there it was cool.
The aquabats rock... I am sure their concert would be totally chill. I have never seen them in concert but their music is tight.
When I was in high school I listened to Maddness and the Specials and actually still do. Good to see some of the original ska sound from that time period is still relevant today.
yo bro... check out this site. Most of the bands here did go mainstream with KROQ. The KROQ that is out there now is NOTHING like it was before. Jed the Fish was an intern back in the day and they were loosing their license all the time for the crap that they would play. When they cleaned up they sucked up.
