A quiet place for a beer hmmmm. In Broadbeach theres a place called the Beach Hotel i think , its pretty newly renovated or head into Jupiters Casino theres a few different bars in there or just head into where the mall is theres a few bars and nite clubs around. But if you head into Surfers you will find somthing you will like there must be 100 bars there. Coolangatta will have less people but still goes off. It all depends on what nite (or day) you go out Thursday to Saturday being the biggest. Hope you have fun out here peace.
hey bud, how u been? end up doing that trip down here to aus? this is the first time ive logged on in bout 3 or 4 months haha, surfs been preety crappy no reefs are doin there thang! but if your in aus make sure if theres any swell in sydney head down to shellhabour and search... u will find, if u explore the south coast of aus and find any breaks keep them to yourself though, us locals dont take to fondley to loud mouths
