I have been told that its been epic in some spots after the last storm. I have not been out since the swell before that though. Heading out Saturday morning... Water has not been that cold though.

been better... been worse. We just had a minor swell the other day that was nice. I was out battling with some other short boarders for waves and there was this old long boarder way out in front... just sitting there for an hour and a half. All of a sudden this frickin 5 footer came out of no where and he snagged it while the rest of us got hit by the white water. He just rode it in... as if he KNEW it was coming.

no, i wish! hawaii and australia are my two dream vacays for bboarding tho. just dont have the dough to get there, even if i did i wouldnt have the time! how about you, what are your dream locals?

From what I saw at one beach on the east side of Maui, there were some good rights breaking. I have no idea what the name of the break was but I was out for two hours and caught some great sets. I hope to get back there some day but $$$ is always tight around here.....

hey tap... what Island you from? I am from the mainland (San Diego) where the surf is usually pretty good all year around. Been to Maui for some bb ten years ago... have not been back there sense then.
