Spent 3 weeks out of action because of uni , i've bee
n studying flat out. I'm Ridiculously jealous of all you gu
ys that can surf everyday. Had a surf last sunday at 13th i
t was pretty good. Not a huge swell but, offshore winds all
day, made it fun enough to play on. It's looking good agai
n for this sunday so fingers crossed ill get back out there
, and the waves are rad.
In the mean time i've been watching dvds and reading mags
to try and keep me sane.
Just ordered in Denis, so anyone want to tell me where the
se hidden parts are?
Cheers, Ben

Scored new fins

Hey Hey!

Delivery man just rolled up, bearing my new vipers. I'm pr
etty stoked and can't wait to get out and test them.

Run into afew problems when I was trying to get fins. Firs
t i bought pods from www.bodyboardshop.com but when they c
a
me they had a small tear in the heel. Needless to say i wa
s
pissed off. So I got on the computer and wrote an email a
n
d the dudes that work there were real good, fixed me up ni
c
ely with some vipers instead. Top blokes and quick transac
t
ions.

for all the people who have had vipers do you wear fin soc
ks? or just brave it bare foot?

big week
Posted On 01/15/2006 18:51:31
I've had a massive week so i spose ill chuck it all down he
re. Starting with last sunday or was it monday? im not
sure anymore.... Anyway, I went with afew mates to go
for a boog at jan juc. Waves were pretty nice, except ther
e was a surfing comp on and stacks of other people in the w
ater so avoiding people was pretty tough. Then after that I
worked pretty flat out tuesday - saturday, racked up 26 ho
urs and really sore feet. (standing up is a bitch)

I
also did one shift at an out door pool for tax reasons. (I
f you work outdoors you can claim sunnys on tax!!
) anyway i thought it would be a really cruizey shift, but
it wasn't a 12 year old dude got bitten by a brown snake. S
o because i was working by myself, i had to bandage him up,
send him in an ambulance, evacuate the pool, close everyth
ing down and then explain to his parents (who were really p
issed off) what happened.

And then last saturday (th
e one just gone) we had a massive night with afew mates fro
m uni at the portsea pub. It was sooooo packed. Full house
by 9 o'clock, and no one was being let in unless someone le
ft. great night.

fecking work...

Been working like a dog wed, thurs and friday this week. ha
vent had time to do anything. But heading out to the beach
this monday 28 degrees or something so hopefully the surf p
roduces and makes it a decent day for me. I deserve it, bee
n out of action for way to long..hah

On a lighter note if anyone lives in yamba and sees a 50 y
ear old dude carving the white water on a NMD spec with vip
ers thats my dad, he stole my old gear to take up for their
holiday, visiting friends or something.... give him a pat
on the back.
