Sweet mornin this more, woke up at 7 to find no wind and a
half decent swell! arrived at the beach and ther were sum f
ast moving barrels tht were spitting every which way, fairl
y heavy for wat my local is normally like too! my bro took
the th camera instead of being in the watter, he has been f
orbidden to go out by doctors orders! aparently he has an e
ar infection, but hey hes a standup so it just means one le
ss in the water! any way, had a great session, some pi
cs tht he shot are posted in my gallery, the most recent on

FINALLY! waves! woke up this morning, a light offshore was
blowing, conditions were looking good as there was resonabl
e swell! :) waited patiently as i ate some cocoa pops! toas
t and a peice of fruit! then left for the beach planning on
spending a wile in there! arrived and there were 7 foot se
ts coming through! threw all my gear on as quick as i could
and pretty much sprinted for the water, wave after wave wa
s a pit then the tide started to drop and it becam very suc
ky and hollow! perfect for bodyboarding! all the surfers st
arted to leave as it was breaking too fast for them , psshh
surfers ae! me and my bro and a few others were left
in the water with nice peaks coming through, again just bar
rel after barrel after barrel! i couldn't stop smiling!!! p
ut a 4hour solid effort in and decided to get out cause i w
as completely spent! not looking too good for a whole nothe
r weak so i will occupy myself by other means, and wait for
the next great day :)

I'd like to say how being member of the month has been grea
t! it's a shame to lose the privledge and the bragging righ
t :P but am looking forward to seeing who the next one is!

o guys hit hur up! and also it may b offshore either tomoro
saturday or sunday! im not certain but i have my fingers c
rossed! gna be wiked! also the latest riptide shud b out in
New Zealdn soon, all the way from auz!! :) cyah all later!

I have found satifaction in the crap surf tht we have been
having l8ly! i never was satisfied with an onshore or acros
s shore surf! but now i'll take anything! its been weeks si
nce the last offshore with a decent swell and things dont l
ook like theyr gna get better any time soon! so i can eithe
r sit and wait for a great surf to come, or i can go out in
watever the ocean is offering and milk it for wat its wort
h! i choose option 2! the day before yesterday i went out i
n wat i'd call the crappy conditions, and today i did the s
ame and surprisingly had a bit of fun hitting sum lippy end
sections and even pulling into a sucky barrel, the ones u
get when its an onshore!! but al in all it was fun, the swe
lls about two foot bigger tomoro and then another foot bigg
er the next day, building slowly! :) i'll be out there tomo
ro, making the most of wat New Plymouth has, for now any wa
y :)

Not only am i angry! im disapointed too!! i woke up yesterd
ay morning, surf was shit cuz of the wind, then half way th
ru school it turned offshore and i cudn go out, tried to go
out after work but i coudnt cause my dad had work!!! all i
could do was have a 5 minute look at wat i was missing, ho
llow, fun pits, im shattered!!!!

I havent added a journal in a while so i thort tht maybe id
make a post! the surf has been shit, crap wind, but alryt
swell, if only the dominant summer wind over here was a se,
offshore! it would be great any way, hope it gets good soo
n, im going crazy!

Went for a good surf, the best one in quite a while as it h
as ben shit l8ly! it was dead low, sucky hollow barrels, i
was pulling in and getting shacked! it was EPIC! :)

How many people here would agree that kelly_slater should h
ave no profile or right to go on bodyboarder.com!?? comment
this and then tell me tht your going to report him as an a
buser, veiw any of his posts and you'll see what i mean, he
s some punk ass kid!
