I work for
Quiksilver and FCS and we have Simon Anderson, Mark Phipps
, Darren Handley, Wayne Lynch, Mark Richards and phil Grace
coming to us on Tuesday. 6 of the BEST board shapers in th
e world are coming together to design the worlds best board
. Sweet!
Now i no it's not BB but hey it's still surfing
and i don't really give a flying monkey as they are simply
the BEST at board shaping.

besides all that what am
I up to. So in England this weekend is a Bank Holiday (pub
lic holiday) So i don't just get sat, sun off i also get Mo
nday and then i'm off on my trip to europe. Man i'm gonna g
et some sick footage and pic's to post on the site.

Ok Ok Ok.

It's May the 21st and the rain hasn't stop
ped falling for the last 4 days. The winds are high and the
ground, choppy, blowin out swell has arrived.
It was j
ust the otherday i was busting one out to the thought of su
mmer finally here. I think i spoke a bit to soon!

yway.....

So it's a typical Saturday and with n
o sign of any decent surf heading our way for the weekend a
nd work on the agenda, there was only one possible solution
....
I was in need of a party and my god i was going to
find one.
The phones started ringing around 6ish with w
ild thoughts running through our minds of what distruction
we were to cause as we amerged a plan.
"Why is it
that Sundays are becoming the same"?
We decided on a fil
m frenzie of BB vids, jamming and bottles and bottles of wi
ne.
As always we said the dreaded words "a few drinks an
d then home" Yer yer, where have i heard that one before???

After 8 bottles of wine and a BB film fest to get
you all siked about going away we decided to head into town
and see where our feet would take us.
Stumberling like
a load of old grannys on a coach trip after a few too many
at the local bingo hall we head for the nearst a
nd most crazed infest place we could find.
Bumping and g
rinding with the locals before we new it we were having dan
ce off comps. Busting out some of my best DK moves on the d
ance floor the judges were impressed and the points were ri
sing.
My final move that not only had me win the dance
off but wipe out half the drunken population in the bar was
a rail slide 360 ummmm how that was done i'm not sure. Of
course i made it look like it was ohhhh-so-natural but in m
y mind i was high fiveing and patting myself on the ba
ck. STOKED!!!
But seriously "why are Sundays becomi
ng the same"?
If there's no swell my Sundays seem to be
heavy heads and well and truly over done minds. < >BRWondering why my clothes have turned from white to
black slowly it all starts to come back to me. Rubbing off
pen tatoo works of art that my buddy has drawn over my
back and waiting for that first phone call from the person
 whos number i fell asleep on last night makes me thin
k that I really have to go surfing.

I'm sure there
is someone out there that can associate with me on this sub
ject and if so you were probably there last night.


At least I still have a smile on my face and a bounce i
n my step.

weekend down in the old South of France in a couple of week
