it all started on a dark, cold, saturday morning ( this
is such a cheesey opening line, please slap me right )
. any way, i had 2 get up @ 04:00 am! we drove from my
home town ( mossel bay ) to plettenburg bay which is about
2 hours away ( that`s where u will find the SA wedge ). we
got there surfed sum of our heats ( oh ja, we went 4 provi
ncial champs ) and then my friend decided 2 go and book us
in @ a back packers. when he got 2 the car all our bags had
been stolen! clothes, money and cell phones. what a kak da
y it had turned out 2 b and on top of it my friends dog die
d and i stuffed up the nose of my board on a back-hand, clo
se-out, wedge, really bummed about my board. anyway cu
t a long story short my dad found all our bags stashed in s
um bushes with everything in except 4 R1100 and one cell ph
one missing. that nite we went out drinking and the one&nbs
p;dude got super wasted and threw up inside the car! so we
chucked him out on 2 a grass patch and left him there 4 the
nite ( ha ha ha ha ha... ) and went back 2 where
we were staying. most of my friends and i done well ( i ca
me 4th, who gives a fuck ). crazy stuff like this happens 2
us on every single trip, but that`s the fun thing about su
rf trips, u never know what`s gonna happen.
