well me and some mates were boogin at newcastle main beach
today and we noticed some stand up having troubles sittin u
p on his board, so we paddled over to him and asked if he w
as ok. he looked at us and said "can you guys just keep an
eye on me incase my head goes under the water,,,,,,,, im ov
er dossing on heroin" he then started to froth at the mouth
and fall off his board so we paddled in, rang 000 and whil
e the ambulance was on its way we paddled back out and help
ed bring the surfer into the shore, by the time we got him
into shore the ambulance officers and police had turned up
and they then were able to revive him and send him away to
james fletcher mental hospital.
