Going along with Eddie, I figure I will write my own virgin
journal entry.

I'm currently sitting in the compute
r room of the Indonesian Australian Language Foundation in
Denpasar Bali, waiting for my drvier to pick me up. I'm goi
ng to be here in Bali for the next 14 days, after that I wi
ll have a sweet qualification in the Indonesian language.
It's kinda a sweet deal; from 8:30-12 Monday to Frida
y is school time, and afternoons and weekends is Ulu time.
I got Slim from Baliwaves.com to take a few happy snaps whi
le I'm out there tearing it apart 662/BBWA style-will post
asap

Going to canggu tomorrow for some DK action, a
nd the if there is enough swell on Saturday I will make the
trip to Padang, if not, probably just Ulu or Impossibles,
both quality.

As Eddie would say, Bali Owns! and he'
s right. Only problem is everywhere I go if i wear my 662 h
at Indonesians always say "Ohh kamu suka PTI?" which means
" Oh do you like the Indonesian Independent party?" which i
s this fucking corrupt-ass political party-the one 60% of p
eo ple hate to death. They say it because the 662mob bull l
ook s exactly like their logo, which is propagandised to th
e max- banners, posters, tv ads etc. They all look at me st
rangly like "why the hell is this white guy advertising a g
overnment that's not even in power?. Ahh well....such is li
fe.
