woop its a lil l8 but a quote has relly stuck in my head an
d that is from riptide " do not believe in your eyes for al
l they show is limitation believe in ur mind and soul" and
wif this quote iv learnt to tackle the boundaries and get f
urther into the depth of craziness just last weekend i went
into an ocean of 10 foot waves  shit its scary but th
is quote helped me  through (btw guys im only 14 so ye
r) surfed out my brains on those waves and then went to a s
well indicator and that too had turned into a surf spot wit
h perfect peeling waves i wanted to get out but dude i waz
wif ma granny and she kept her foot down about nobody being
out there shortly the weekend after went wif ma dad with p
erfect surf at surfies point on phillip island which was go
od on both tides and on a 30 degree day it was a slice of h
eaven with tubes being ridden (didnt make any but its still
good to see the green room not to mention gtting dumped) t
he day comes down to a close with a total of 34 hours bodyb
oarding over the holz im a true grom

shouldve seen today the swell was about 2-4 meters and i
was about to go to woolamai got out and realised some jet
skiier towing a surfer in and giving him all the waves. so
i went YCW and got a humungous fright there when my friend
said that he saw a shark and i didnt believe himm and just
went over the next wave and saw its fin and caught the next
wave in. According to the fin the shark wasnt very big so
dont worry. I then went to the crowds of smiths and i was t
he main ripper on bb. I Made the most of
it and everybody on the shoreline was pointing and watchin
towards me and even ma parents thought i was the best over
all the surfers there BODYBOARDS RULE

How to do the 360
Posted On 03/24/2006 03:23:03
1.  Turn low
on the wave and carve up the face at a 45-degree angle tow
ard the lip. Make sure you have plenty of speed and some op
en face of the wave ahead.
  2.  Wind up your feet and torso in t
he opposite direction of the way yo u want to spin. It's ea
sier to spin toward the lip of the w ave, so if you are rid
ing left, spin left, and vice versa.
  3.  Release your rail from t
he wave so the bottom surface of your board is flat on the
wave.

  4.  Unwind y our body, lifting your feet up and swinging t
hem in the dir ection you want to spin. Also turn your head
and shoulders in the direction you want to spin. Where you
r head goes, yo ur body will follow.
  5.  Lean ove r the front of
the board as you reach the halfway point of your turn. &nb
sp;This will keep your tail, which is now fac ing forward,
from digging into the water and halting your f orward progr
ess. Arch your back and bend your knees up as f ar as they
will go to keep the weight over the nose.
< /TR> &nbs
p; 6. < >/FONT Shift
yo ur weight back to the center of your board as you reach
the three-quarter point of the spin, and begin lowering you
r f eet back down to their normal riding position.

  < >FONT face=Arial,Helvetica,sans size=-1 -serif7.  Lean you r
inside rail back into the wave and finish out the spin li
ke a regular turn.
