Waves are gonna be sick tomorrrow but so am I
Posted On 01/03/2007 21:38:31
Just woken up its 5.30am here and I feel sick and my throat
is on fire. Really pissed because the surfs going to be ab
out 4 foot and sick in about 4 hours. Also I'm pretty sure
that I'm going to have to surf alone, which I'm not always
a great fan of. Sometimes its nice in the summer to surf al
one, but when the waters freezing and I feel like shit it's
not as much fun. Oh well I've got 4 hours to try and shake
this cold and hopefully snag some nice shorey pits.

New Years Surf (some pictures in blog)
Posted On 01/01/2007 12:09:43
Happy New Year. Surf pumped early this morning. Freezing co
ld sweet barrels just 6 of us in. Perfect start to the year
, and tomorrows looking sweet too. Pics of today below.

Good waves today (some pictures in blog)

One of my local spots was pretty good today. Nice hollow wa
ves, which made a good change from the local flatness we ge
t in South East England. Considering London is only an hour
away and nobody really knows we get any waves here the sur
f was pretty fun. Bloody freezing though. I'm the guy with
red board, my mate is with the yellow board. Pictures of th
e surf below in the comments.

Boat washed up on my local reef
Posted On 12/08/2006 07:23:49
Had a funny surf today. Got down to one of the local reefs
to find a massive 105ft long 40ft across Barge ha
d been washed up on the reef and was wedged against the cli
ff. Naturally we went up with our boards and wetties on and
took some photos standing next to this massive boat. Lucki
ly it didn't seem to have spilled any oil or any stuff like
that, but the cliff had collapsed a bit after having a boa
t smack into it. We ended up having a surf as the tide fill
ed in close to this boat which was pretty cool and made for
quite a weird session. Once the tide started filling in th
e boat started moving around quite a bit . Decided to head
in at that point as being run over by a massive ship didn't
seem like much fun.Picture of the boat below this.

Back from Morocco
Posted On 12/03/2006 13:36:51
Got back from Morocco a couple of days ago. What a funny co
untry, just like Borat's Khazakhstan. Lots of people with
d onkey Karts, dodgy moustaches and cheap suits. Waves were
p umping the whole time I was there. Some sick point break
s b ut the waves were a bit fat, but i had the odd thick pi
t an d found a nice left hand wedge for dropknee. All in al
l a g ood trip only about a 3 hour flight from London and g
ot me away from Englands freezing winter.

Finding cash
Posted On 10/07/2006 10:53:37

Just found £20 in my garden, pretty stoked should pay my
cab fares tonight. Keep finding cash, last week found
£20 in Ireland wasn't sure if it was real money and nearly
threw it away because their cash looks different to Englan
ds. Might give up my job and go and get pissed in student b
ars, they've got money all over the floor, I found about £2
00 quid at Uni in the Bar.

Back from Ireland
Posted On 10/07/2006 08:21:36
Been back from Ireland a week now and have actually had a g
ood surf in Brighton today too.
Scored sweet waves in B
undoran. Found a sick right hand reef nearby, never had so
many deep barrels. Only a handful of people in too. When we
did get it flat we cruised up to the North of Ireland, and
stayed in a fat 7 bed penthouse on the harbour front. Part
ied hard up there; some wicked clubs around, the local one
Kellys had 2000 people there. Vodka is only 7 quid a bottle
in some of the clubs too, bargain!

First really decent surf for months

25/5/06
Waited a long time for this, my local spot final
ly had some decent hollow thick waves. Just three of us in.
Had about 8 barrels in 20 minutes. Really shallow and easi
ly makeable barrels. I faceplanted the stones and have
;a nice lump on my forehead to show for it. Started doublin
g up in the shorey and you'd get thrown onto the dry shingl
e. Hopefully this summer will be a good one, we've had
waves every day recently we don't normally get more than a
few surfs a month. We've been getting some fun water video
footage, but today the camera decided to not work, typical
, it would have looked sick from the water.Waiting to see i
f its any good for the drop.
