looks like the fat man's bringing us some swell from wed o

its 10am, im going to the pub.

16, 17 year old kids complaining that a certain spot is
extremely crowded "now". well what the fuck do you expect w
hen your blabbering about the spot to anyone and everyone.
and by the way "rp" has been crowded for years, well before
your time kiddies. holy crap its even got the name of the
spot graffitied on a rock wall right infront of it.
that
said its a novelty wave anyways, its pretty much just a ta
ke-off and a 3millisecond barrell. so wake up to yourself a
nd stop talking out your arseholes.

also on the week
end me and a mate surfed a nearby wave (to the one mentione
d above), which only works when the swell is near flat and
its a bit of fun. well we turned up and there was 4 guys su
rfing it and another mate on the shore watching or doing so
mething. anyways they were carrying on like complete fuckwi
ts, kids its 2ft max and average at best.
anyway we wait
ed until they got out then jumped in ourselves. yet they co
ntinued to carry on like fuckwits from the shore. grow up k
ids.
funny thing is ive never seen anyone surfing this j
oint before, obviously its been surfed but it kinda sucks t
hat a pack of 5 idiots decided to have a dig.

you eg
otistical 'hell-men' should grow up and stop worrying about
what someones going to think of you.
get a life, or at
least make your shitty existence a little bit meaningful by
not lying to everyone (including yourself).

on a sadder note: surf looks remaining
flat for a while around my neck of the woods.

so i finally got around to posting some new pics. well they
are actually old pics but........you know what i mean.

anyways i've an ear infection and yes ofco
urse there's waves at the moment. back to the docco tomorro
w morning. hopefully i get the all clear to get back in the
water. if not ill be devo.

So i'm off to the cook islands with 3 mates in feb, for 3 w
eeks. But i'll be needing at least one new board. Theres no
stock boards out there that are appealing to me so i've st
arted thinking/measuring up my specs for a custom.
At t
he moment they are looking like this:

nose: 11.5 to 11.75 (somewhere between he
rre)
tail:17.75

wide point:21 nose2wide point:18


It'll be my first custom as i've always just gone
with stock board. Any thoughts on the specs. I'm pretty tal
l, like 6ft1' or so. and lanky as, about 70kgs or a little
less somedays.

so yeah, hit me with some feedback. O
h and it'll probably be a QCD with creasent tail,
stringer (flex-tip or standard?) and channels (dunno
which ones i.e. Graduated Channels or Slot Channels ba
h whats the difference?).
