Today was a small day and nothing special compared to yeste
rday. This didnt mean that the waves were crap. The waves w
ere long, peaky, wedgy and fast. This was good because it w
as the perfect combination for hiotting lips and wedges and
doing spins. Vas was doing the "best spins" he has ever do
ne. Dom was doing his thing putting in some nice carves and
good barrels. SWOOSS came out for a bit and put in a good
performance. Young Wandru Miwear was doing some fast 360s a
nd nice cutback to reverse, he also stuck a few clean barel
l rolls. I had a fun day doing spins and some reverses but
my favourite trick of the day was htiing lips and doing a c
ouple of barrel rolls. Ken was having fun doing his signatu
re fluid 360's he's been practising them 4 ages and they lo
ok sick i wish i could do them like he does. Overall anothe
r fun surfwith many tricks pulled and a couple of nice barr
els. Peace.

....after spending $10 on junk food we all headed back d
own to the bazza. When we got there it was crowded to the
c raphouse!!! Me and vas paddled out and got some sick wave
s until it just got ridicoulous with surfers droping in eve
ry wave (FUCKERS!) After that we headed on round to bronte
sh orey which was looking real good at mid tide unloading t
hick closeouts just for us! Nobody else was out and we surf
ed till it got dark. I saw some random kook try and ca
rve the lip 80's style but he got sucked over the falls to
a shallow doom. Another kook tried to copy one of me and&nb
sp;dom's stalled take of and ended up becoming part of the
lip and got axed. Local surfer murrauy was out tearing
up bronte reef and even getting the occasional grab air wh
en he hit the shorey section, he's a mad dog. The wave
s of the day were Vas's wave of his life  it seems to
happen every session. Dom got on a bomb set and was able to
set up for an in and out on a shorey ( Very Rare at Bronte
SHorey) with a big spraying cutback on a sucky lip. I was
happy with a couple of wannabe winchester drops and the occ
asional one that spat b4 it colapsed.All in all a great day
for us and the real winner in this situation is bodyb
oarding. Peace.

the waves were on today at tamarama! I got down @ 8am an
d surfed through to 6pm. The longest surf iv'e been a
b le to hit up yet. The sets rolled in clean @ 4-5ft with c
le an offshore conditions with the occasion spit. This scen
e o f intense happinese was spoiled by the site of my frien
d va s trying to have a secret Bat behind the rocks... that
was the most most disgusting thing ever. After he realized
we h ad caght him in the act he got into his wettie and jo
ined u s in the water with a white stain on his wetsuit. We
were s et up over further outside the reef waiting for the
bigger sets which were sometimes spit. Everyones was getti
ng in an d outs. Mini got a mad barrel roll but landed
on dry reef. Webb got the cleanest invert i have ever seen
it was clean mean and big!! We sufed until lunch and then
made the trek to the infamous SCOOP store owned by chooks w
ere vas has a horrificly long record of stealin g a tub of
jam, 6 loafs of mouldy bread, a egg sandwich and  a ca

Just reurned from a trip up the coast to Mc
amasters beach on the central coast! The main objective of
the trip was mainly to score wavs but also to have a good t
ime. The first day didn't impress at all, small choppy 1ft
sets rolling in but tiny. Day 2 me and Vas got up for the e
arly but after a surf check it was evident that the bed was
the best otion. We chilled and wasted time waitng waiting
waiting for the supposed SES swell to hit. Day 3 after yet
another unsuccesfull early check @ 6.00 am we slept in and
checked out erina fair, a near by mall. Yet anoither let do
wn when we couldn't find the newsagent and the only chicks
around were little 12 year olds thinking they were hookers,
eeeeeeeeeeerrrrr. Day 4 finally the swell began to arrive
but the wind was cross shore and affect the waves. Highligh
ts were Vas's infamous gonzo roll and my 360 drop off and a
tandom wave which was shredded to the shitter!  Day 5
  in the water @ 10.00 am and loving it, perfect offsh
ore 4-5ft barrels available with a shallow middle bank with
the ocassional spit evident. There was a fun drop into a f
airly thick pit for a beachie with the chance of an in and
out ride and it was only me and Vas to lap it all up!
We later visited the shorey that was to be dubbed by vas as
"Pedoes" for an undisclossed reason that i still don't und
erstand. This was a great day with highlights such as Vas's
barrel rolles and my numerous in and outs and the odd atte
mp to dk the pits. Day 6 the swell began to leave early but
we were still stoked from a big session out yesterday but
there were stil godd little barrls and today was decided to
be dedicated al to Drop Knee or One Knee Mega Ultra Super
Stance as Vas calls it. This proved fun with dk skills impr
oving with carves put on by both of us. We left the next mo
urning with a solid few days with surf on a couple bu8t ove
rall a succes with our skills improving and some stories fo
r the lads back home. Peace.
